Edmonton’s new home for live, local sports talk debuts Wednesday, September 3 on 95.7 Cruz FM

Edmonton, AB – Monday, August25, 2025 – Harvard Media is proud to announce the launch of The Nielson Show, featuring Lt. Eric, debuting Wednesday, September 3.The show will air weekday mornings from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on 95.7 Cruz FM, delivering Edmonton listeners three hours of straight talk, all local – with a heavy focus on the Oilers and Edmonton’s local sports scene.

Hosted by veteran broadcaster Dustin Nielson alongside Eric Holt, The Nielson Show has already built a loyal following in Edmonton through its YouTube live streams on the Edmonton Sports Talk channel. Now, listeners can enjoy the energy and insight of the show right on their FM radio at 95.7 Cruz FM, or stream it anywhere at https://listen.streamon.fm/ckea.

Nielson is no stranger to Edmonton sports fans. As the longtime voice of local sports radio and a national CFL broadcaster on TSN, he has become one of the most recognizable names in Canadian sports media. Previously, The Nielson Show was a morning staple on Edmonton radio –and now, it’s back on the FM dial where it belongs.

Eric starting Wednesday, September 3, 2025 –weekday mornings from 6 to 9 a.m. on 95.7 Cruz FM. 95.7 Cruz FM will still broadcast local traffic reports during the morning show. Listeners can still expect to hear the music they know and love, ‘Variety That Rocks’ on 95.7 Cruz FM outside of the morning show hours.
