Masters of Innovation: Our Journey in Saskatoon
Harvard Media has been a part of the Saskatoon community since April 2008. CFWD, also known as 96.3 Wired, was committed to providing a unique blend of music and entertainment that resonated with the local audience. On December 26th, 2012, Wired was rebranded to 96.3 Cruz FM - and has been a well known favorite for alternative music and entertainment ever since. Cruz FM, a Harvard Media radio station, has been connecting local business with listeners for over a decade. We've expanded our reach and diversified our offerings, but our commitment to local businesses and communities remains.

At Harvard Media, we're about creating meaningful connections, driving results, and celebrating our shared successes. Our team's passion, expertise, and commitment to excellence have been recognized multiple times at the industry level.
In 2019, our team won 'Radio Station of the Year - Medium Market' at the Canadian Music Week Broadcast Industry Awards. The same year, our Program Director, Andy Ross, was recognized as 'Program Director of the Year - Medium Market' at the 2020 Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards. This recognition was a huge honor for our team in Saskatoon.
A few other achievements worth mentioning are:
- Our experiences have gained well deserved recognition. In 2020, our "Hallo-Wheels Drive-Thru Trick-or-Treating" initiative won 'Best Sales Promotion - Medium Market' at the Broadcast Dialogue Canadian Radio Awards.
- Following this, in 2021, our "Kick-Ass Small Town Prove It Tour" won 'Best Sales Promotion - Medium Market' title.
- Our on-air talents have been repeatedly applauded - Stacie & Joel won 'On-Air Talent of the Year - Secondary Market' at the 2017 Canadian Music Week Broadcast Industry Awards.
These milestones are just the beginning of all our team hopes to acheive. We will continue to work to be the best and bring our best to the audiences and businesses we serve.

Notable ones include the annual Cameco Cares Concert Series presented by Cruz FM, which raises funds for local hospital foundations, and our long-standing involvement in the TLC@Home donation drive, providing support for underprivileged children in community schools.
